Welcome to ETOSUG

Thank you for visiting the East Texas Open Source User's Group, formerly known as the East Texas Linux User's Group.

The focus of this organization is to bring local BSD and Linux users together and form a collaborative environment in which to exchange ideas and knowledge. We attempt to hold regular meetings in neutral locations where all of the members can get together and invite friends for food, presentation, and discussion.

While the founders of this group are systems administrators, casual users and students alike are welcome to attend. We try to keep our meetings casual and welcome visitors of all skill levels.

Please meet us at Double Daves in Longview @ 310 E Loop 281 on Thursday, July 8 at 7 PM! Just drop us an email beforehand so we have an idea how many people to expect and reserve seats for!

At this meeting, we will discuss the goals of this group and follow it with an abstract OSS discussion period.

Mailing Lists

We run a mailing list server called lists.etosug.org.

The two main lists are etosug-announce and etosug-misc.
